More hoof prints, than foot prints!

It has been cold and snowy for so long, so now the animals from the forrest behind our are even less shy than usual. And if you look at the foot-, hoof-, and paw-prints around our house, you would say that there are more deers living in our house, than humans. And I have seen hoof prints on our door step, so perhaps they DO live in the house!

This is a picture from the other day. We were eating lunch at 1 pm, and a deer came strolling around our house. I even had time to bring out the camera, fiddle with the focus and STILL get good pictures of the deer! We even stood and watched eachother for a while, before I fetched the camera. He wasn't shy at all. So, there's the explanation of all hoof prints!
I do hope that he will not be back in the spring. He usually eats my pansies, tulips and roses. Not the leafs, mind you, only the flowers...
